Multiple Export Formats
Choose the file type that fits your backend

Save as PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF or JSON
Our Document Scanner SDK supports several output formats, making it compatible with all kinds of backend systems.
The available export file formats are: JSON, JPG, PDF, TIFF, and PNG. All of these can also be encrypted if needed.
JSON is a popular data interchange format similar to YAML and XML. It uses human-readable text to store key-value pairs and arrays.
JPG, PNG, and TIFF are three of the most widely used image file formats, with different degrees of compression and metadata capabilities. Most backend software can process at least one of these image file types.
Converting a scanned image into a searchable PDF achieves two goals at once: On the one hand, you have a visually identical digital representation of the original document. On the other, you can do a full-text search to find specific words or passages in the PDF – or quickly find the file itself in your document management system, even years later.
