STORIS’ furniture retail clients requested a faster way for store staff to look up products while
assisting customers on the showroom floor. Originally, they had to manually search for items
in the POS application.
In its effort to improve its solution’s product search experience through barcode scanning,
STORIS encountered roadblocks in the form of browser and device compatibility issues. The
STORIS team thus decided to test several third-party solutions for integration into its
software.
Our retail clients utilizing STORIS NextGen Mobile Point of Sale needed a quicker method to identify correct products while assisting customers. To address this, we integrated Scanbot SDK’s barcode scanning feature, enabling our users to quickly find products by scanning barcodes on floor tags.
This enhancement has cut the time required to access and relay crucial product details by 70% and has eliminated the need for manual searches, streamlining operations and enhancing customer service.
