Goal
Carelogic want to help their customers improve product tracing inside their stores by offering them a fast, accurate, and easy-to-use application for barcode scanning. To make the processing of products with more than one barcode more efficient, they would like to enable end users to scan 3 to 5 barcodes at once.
Challenge
Since the amount of barcodes scanned fluctuates considerably, peaking at 150,000 barcodes in a single day, carelogic were looking for a solution with a fixed pricing model without additional costs. Additional requirements were an easy integration into their Android app using Xamarin.Forms, accurate scanning results, and fast barcode recognition.
