Bison Transport specializes in cross-docking, a logistical practice where goods are unloaded from inbound vehicles and directly loaded onto outbound vehicles with minimal warehouse activity. Until now, Bison used manual, paper-based processes to keep track of incoming and outgoing pallets. This method burdened warehouse workers with additional work steps. Time-consuming and error-prone, it also led to irregular and late updates to customers.

The system will also enable Bison to supply real-time freight status updates. This is a service usually provided by companies with more warehouse activity – but one customers increasingly expect.
